In the summer of 2019 we approached designer Odessa Boehm and tasked her with coming up with a design for Above The Narrows on Salt Spring Island. After visiting the property Odessa envisioned a stunning design for our consideration. After a couple of design iterations Odessa further developed Above The Narrows in 3D so we could virtually walk-through the home and explore the rooms from any angle. In 2020 we contracted our builder to help us take Odessa's concept and create building plans. We next engaged Boss Design and Ivory Design to take Odessa's vision of Above The Narrows into building plans.
In late winter 2020 came the covid-19 pandemic. We decided to slow down the build schedule until we were comfortable that the supply chain issues were behind us and that trades would be able to work on Above The Narrows. Construction commenced in earnest two years later in 2022. Above The Narrows opened to guests in 2024.
